For the last ten years, Global Sustainable Fashion Week has provided a space for experts, designers, academics, innovators and industry leaders to spark conversations around responsible fashion. This year, the tradition continues. On Friday, September 18, 2026, GSFW will celebrate its 10th Anniversary Jubilee with a special conference programme at the Grand Assembly Hall of Budapest City Hall, a day dedicated to ideas shaping the fashion industry’s future.
What began with discussing responsible production, materials and environmental impact has expanded into circularity, technology, regulation, education and global supply chains. The 2026 GSFW conference reflects this evolution, looking beyond traditional fashion topics to explore industrial digitalization, ESG compliance, global supply-chain cybersecurity and Digital Product Passport (DPP).
Our lineup of speakers features academics and industry professionals from around the world, including Canada, Finland, Hungary, Taiwan, Germany, UK and Italy, to name just a few places. This international diversity highlights innovations, research and approaches emerging across the global fashion industry, offering perspectives from different regions, disciplines and experiences.
Everyone’s voice will have a place in the conversation. Rather than following a traditional conference structure, the programme will encourage an open exchange between experts and participants through the “Reverse Panel”, fostering broader discussion, critical questioning and deeper exploration of the topics transforming the fashion industry’s future.
