CALL FOR DESIGNERS: THE 10th ANNIVERSARY MILESTONE OF #GSFW
A Special Edition: Integrated Ethical Excellence
To mark the 10th Anniversary of Global Sustainable Fashion Week (#GSFW), we are placing a special emphasis on a holistic selection process. For this historic occasion, we are inviting designers who demonstrate true mastery by integrating every aspect of sustainability into their work—from the initial design phase through to final manufacturing.
We seek collections that serve as a Synergy of Heritage and Innovation, proving that high-end fashion can be environmentally conscious, socially responsible, and culturally significant.
Applications should prioritize:
- Holistic Sustainable Design: Collections conceived with a 360-degree ethical mindset.
- Innovative & Circular Execution: Mastery of zero-waste patterns, upcycling, or circular material flows.
- Heritage-Driven Artistry: Honoring traditional craftsmanship as a foundation for modern, sustainable storytelling.
- EduPlatform Visibility: Selected designers may be featured as case studies on our new #GSFW EduPlatform, helping us educate the next generation of industry leaders.

Participation Opportunities & Production Details
As a non-profit organization, #GSFW is dedicated to providing an accessible, high-level global stage for ethical creators. The following Participation Contributions are used directly to cover the professional infrastructure of the event. Thanks to our pro-bono Board, Ambassadors, and International Volunteers, we offer these elite services at a fraction of standard industry costs.
Event Date & Venue
The 10th #GSFW International Eco Fashion Show is tentatively scheduled for September 18, 2025, subject to final venue confirmation. We take pride in hosting our showcases in inspiring and elegant locations that match the prestige of our designers. Past venues have included the Italian Cultural Institute and the FUGA Budapest Center of Architecture.
1. Digital Premiere (Global Impact)
A high-visibility digital showcase featured on the #GSFW YouTube channel and across our global social media networks.
- Includes: Professional video editing support and international digital promotion.
- Requirements: Max. 5-minute video (using Creative Commons music) + Brand Profile & Lookbook.
- Participation Contribution: €350
2. Physical Showcase & Curated Display
A physical presence at our Budapest venue, featuring select “hero” pieces of your collection that embody the synergy of heritage and innovation.
- Includes: Curated display space or a featured mini-presentation during the event days.
- Participation Contribution: €450 – €600 (depending on the scale of the display).
3. The 10th Anniversary International Eco Fashion Show
Our most comprehensive “turnkey” solution for designers, offering a full runway experience at the highest professional level.
- Elite Professional Service: We provide a complete production team, including a pool of 12+ professional models, expert hair & makeup artists, backstage management, and technical support.
- Creative Excellence: Your show will be elevated by the vision of István Hornyák, an outstanding creative professional and choreographer. He ensures every presentation is a high-impact artistic narrative tailored to your brand’s identity.
- Anniversary Bonus: 2 nights of complimentary accommodation (with breakfast) in a premium Budapest hotel.
- VIP Benefits: Free VIP entry to the International Conference + 3 guest tickets to the Fashion Show.
- Participation Contribution: €950
Important Logistics & Selection
- Selection Process: Application does not imply automatic acceptance. The #GSFW Board reviews all submissions to ensure they meet our standards for Integrated Ethical Excellence.
- Shipping: Designers are responsible for the safe transport of their collections to and from Budapest. #GSFW cannot handle shipping or customs logistics.
- Visas: Official invitation letters for visa applications are provided upon request for accepted designers.
